This bouquet is a perfect example of the saying less is more. When designing bridal bouquets there are 2 directions you can take. You can either go extravagant or simple, and because they are fresh cut flowers the outcome will always be full, lush and beautiful.
This is the definition of a simple bouquet, we only used red monster garden roses & silver dollar eucalyptus. Since the garden roses are so dense and structured we chose this less saturated and flowy eucalyptus to complement them. To accent the simplicity of the bouquet we wrapped the stems with a gorgeous, long, off-white shimmer lace. We fell in love with this mixture & can’t wait to share it with future brides!
What is the best part of Valentine’s Day for you? For us it’s definitly the flowers! (In close second are the conversation hearts). We put a unique twist on the typical V-day rose bouquet this year. Don’t get us wrong, we have a serious love affair with garden roses, but why settle for such an easy staple?
We created this bouquet with our favorites in mind, and that’s the way it should be! Flowers will definitely brighten your loved ones day, but a unique bouquet of their favorite flowers will earn you some serious brownie points. This Valentine’s Day earn the extra brownie points by spending a little extra time shopping around the 3 for $10 at Central Market, Trader Joes, or Whole Foods and put together something she will love. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but it is a thoughtful and beautiful way to fill any girl’s love tank!
Our Valentine’s bouquet it made of : peonies, hydrangea, carnations, waxflower, white veronica, snapdragons, viburnum berries, cockscomb and seeded eucalyptus.
XOXO – The Arrangement Bar
Not only is this peony and magnolia arrangement beautiful, but the cost is low which is an added bonus! We were able to pick these leaves from a tree at a park nearby, and only needed to buy 2 bunches of peonies from the store to complete.
This arrangement is easy to put together, and when complete makes a big statement piece. The mix of green & velvety brown leaves with the different size dark pink peonies gives a great texture and variety using only 2 types of stems. With the help of some floral foam, this arrangement is easy to form into any type of vase you have on hand.
This holiday we’re going to make your flower decor one less thing to stress about! This garden rose arrangement will be the perfect edition to your table center, mantel, or entryway. It will quickly give your home a lively holiday feel!
This arrangement is so quick & simple- it only involves 1 type of flower (red garden rose) and 1 type of greenery (dusty miller). These are both very easy to find right now- we got ours from Central Market.
To start find a holiday vase and cut your dusty miller to go around the rim. (We found this amazing sterling silver vase at Salvation Army for a whopping $2!) Next, add in the garden roses. We would say about 4-5 maximum for a small vase like this one. The bigger the rim of the vase, the more you will need. Floral foam is very helpful for wide rim vases if you don’t want to go crazy with a lot of flowers and greenery.
Add in some dusty miller to fill the empty spaces, and there you have it! An easy and beautiful holiday arrangement. Now all you have to focus on is all the last minute Christmas gifts you still need to get!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from TAB!
