Pineapple Margarita

If you are looking for the perfect poolside spritzer, look no further! You actually don’t even need a pool to enjoy this pineapple margarita, just a warm sunny day. This recipe is perfect if you have a pineapple that is ripe and juicy, or you just want to finish off that bottle of tequila. It is super quick and easy to make, and will have you dreaming of that next tropical vacation that you know you deserve! 3.5 oz. pineapple juice – fresh or from a can
2.5 oz. agave silver tequila (or less, depending how strong you want it)
1 lime- cut into thick wedges
3 oz. club soda
¼ fresh jalapeno (optional)
½ cup sugar – for rim

Take one of the lime wedges and rub along the rim of your glass. Dip the lime rim into the sugar (or salt, if you’re not in to that). Pour your tequila, pineapple juice and 2 juiced lime wedges into a shaker. Shake until mixed. If you are using fresh jalapenos, go ahead and add them to your sugar rimmed up, and add ice. Pour the tequila mix over ice, and add the club soda. Taste, and enjoy.
