We have a few friends getting married this summer so wedding flowers are on our mind and we couldn’t be more excited! To get some practice we got together this past weekend and made a couple of our first ever bridal bouquets and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. These were so much fun for us to create (with a vodka drink on the side of course) and while we were super proud of our first ones we definitly learned from it and feel ready to take on the real deal for our bride friends in a couple months!
We knew we wanted to do a dark romantic bouquet that was mixed with draping greens to give it a more dramatic effect. We headed to the flower market and pulled some dark blooms to use as our base. Red monster garden roses & deep purple ranunculus set the tone for the greenery we wanted to mix in with it. We picked out dollar eucalyptus, hanging pepperberry, and seeded eucalyptus and then for a little extra color we added in the amaranth.
And you can’t forget the boutonnière! With just a few pieces of these beautiful stems we were able to put together a simple, modern, and romantic boutonnière that was the perfect compliment to our big bouquet.
We hope you swoon over this beautiful bouquet of flowers just as much as we did 🙂 If you or anyone you know is getting married we are open for all wedding business.
